AGGREGATES
These products are made from Hard Blue rock. As this is a Natural product, colour can range from a typical blue through to a slight brown tint.

Recommended applications:
Decorative stone, drainage gravel e.g. pipe bedding, concrete aggregate.
Normal sizing 10mm down to 7mm
Recommended applications:
Exposed concrete, as decorative stone, drainage gravel e.g. pipe bedding, concrete aggregate.
Normal sizing 20mm down to 14mm
Recommended applications:
Retaining wall backfill, decorative stone, drainage gravel, concrete aggregate.
BLUE ROCK
70 - 150mm
Recommended applications:
Decorative, dry creek beds, erosion control, drainage, gabion or rock baskets.
150 - 350mm
Recommended applications:
Landscaping and decorative e.g. garden edging, rock pools, dry and wet creek beds, bank reinforcement or erosion control.
350 - 600mm
Recommended applications:
Landscaping and decorative e.g. garden edging, rock pools, dry & wet creek beds, bank reinforcement or erosion control.
RAIL BALLAST
These are both made from the freshest blue rock available and have a sharp angular shape to them. They are both made to Queensland rail specifications.
Type A
Normal sizing 53mm down to 20mm
Type B
Normal sizing 43mm down to 20mm
Recommended applications:
Decorative drainage e.g. sullage pits, retaining wall backfill, rail ballast.
ROAD BASE
Type 2.3
High Quality road base, this Mains Road grade product is produced from hard weathered blue rock with normal sizing of 20mm down to fines. Containing more fines than lower grade products, Type 2.3 meets and exceeds the old CBR 80 specification and has a high plasticity making it easy to work and compact resulting in a smart clean finish.
Recommended applications:
High quality driveway road base, lower course road base.
37mm Scalps
Consisting of rock sizing from 37mm down to fines, this product has a more consistent colour and contains more fines than the 19mm scalps and is better able to handle wet, boggy and heavy clay conditions than a smaller sized road base.
Recommended applications:
Farm roads, temporary tracks, building sites, heavy vehicle driveways or concrete pads.
19mm Scalps
Consisting of rock sizing from 19mm down to fines, this product contains less fines than the 37 mm scalps. Ideal as a low cost alternative to other higher grade road base products. The colour consistency can vary depending on rock source and contains less moisture resulting in a dryer product. NB: if colour consistency is important for your project, this product may not be suitable.
Recommended applications:
Driveways, Building sites, concrete pads and any other applications where a certified blended road base is not required.
Crusher Dust
Consisting of blue rock sizing from 4mm down to fines.
Recommended applications:
Concrete slab or tank pads, path ways, levelling material, horse stables or sand substitute in concrete applications
